Senior Choir
Open to adults with an interest in singing multiple-part music, this choir rehearses in the Chapel every Thursday night from 7:15-8:45 and sings every Sunday. While having the ability to read music is an advantage, it is not a requirement!
Handbell Choir
The Handbell Choir operates on a 4-week “rotation schedule”, where ringers practice four weeks and play in church the following Sunday. Interested participants may join as many or as few rotations as they wish! Rotation sign-up sheets are posted on the Music bulletin board in Angela Hubley Hall, and they rehearse Tuesday evenings from 7:30-8:30 pm.
Praise Choir
Anyone grades 9-adult is welcome to join. This choir sings easy-to-learn contemporary praise songs once a month in church and occasionally at the Worship on Wednesday services. They meet every Sunday after church with Kathy Nichols.
Children’s Choirs
All the children of the church have the opportunity to experience music on Sunday mornings. As the children are gathered to go to Sunday School, Kindergarten-4th graders (the “Treble Choir”) meet in the Church House Activity Center for a 10-minute music practice with their Music Leader before going off to their classes. Interested singers from the 5th-8th grades (the “Chancel Choir”) meet with Nathan Bayreuther following worship to rehearse more advanced music.
