We are proud to host the Farmer’s Market on the church-owned Green,

and to have partnered with the market in an effort to encourage the

use of reusable grocery bags instead of single-use plastic. 

 

During the summer of 2019, we gave away reusable bags in exchange for

plastic bags.  We sent the plastic bags that we collected to First Baptist

Church in Sardis, MS, where volunteers weaved them into sleeping mats

for the homeless.
