Our Choirs

We have several adult and children’s choral groups, a rotating handbell choir, a magnificent 1930 Möller pipe organ, a restored 1875 Steinway Grand piano, the Music at the Meetinghouse concert series and much more. You are invited to take part! Please contact our Director of Music Ministry and explore how you may bless others – and yourself – through music.

Learn More ...
An interest in singing multiple-part music, this choir rehearses in the Chapel every Thursday night from 7:00-8:30 pm and sings every Sunday. While having the ability to read music is an advantage, it is not a requirement! This choir also participates in special events such as the annual Interfaith Thanksgiving service and the annual Consociation Choir Festival, and they travel to area nursing homes to sing periodically throughout the year.

Treble Choir
Age: Pre-K – 3rd Grade
Rehearsals: Sunday School

Learn More ...
All the children of the church have the opportunity to experience music on Sunday mornings. The Pre-K through 3rd graders (the “Treble Choir”) meet in the basement of the church for the first 10 minutes of Sunday School. This provides a group experience building peer teams and a sense of their church community. They sing in church about once a month.

They will be singing “For the Beauty of the Earth” on Sunday, November 20th! Click below to practice with the accompaniment, and click here for the lyrics!

Spirit Choir
Age: All ages
Rehearsals: Sundays, 11:30am – 11:40am

Learn More ...
The ultimate in flexibility and simplicity! The Spirit Choir meets for only ten minutes every Sunday from 11:30-11:40 am in the Chapel to learn easy yet fun music to sing the following Sunday. Started in the summer of 2013, this choir sings uplifting songs with a special emphasis on spirituals and progressive Christian worship songs. Simply show up as you are able and join in! They sing nearly every week.

Rehearsals: By Appointment

Learn More ...

Handbell Choir
Age: 12 – Adult
Rehearsals: Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:00 pm

Learn More ...
The Handbell Choir operates on a 4-week “rotation schedule”, where ringers practice four weeks and play in church the following Sunday. Interested participants may join as many or as few rotations as they wish! No experience is necessary – you simply need to know your right from your left, how to count to four and possess a decent sense of rhythm! Rotation sign-up sheets are posted on the Music bulletin board in Angela Hubley Hall, and they rehearse Tuesday evenings from 5:00-6:00 pm.

Chancel Choir
